Happy Late Valentines!
So, I've been having a lot of Bebe Rexha feelings the past couple days. I've been tweeting about it, but it's become difficult to express the true extent of her quality in 140 characters. So I made a picspam. When I uploaded my "Bebe Rexha" folder, photobucket told me there were 53 pictures. There are less than 53 pictures in this post, I promise.
So this is sort of a late Valetine's gift to everyone, since everyone stands to gain from more Bebe in their life. Thank youdelphinapterus for the cute heart!
Who's Bebe?
Firstly, it's pronounced Bee-Bee. Secondly, she used to be the lead singer for Black Cards and hang out with Pete all the time and rock out but now Black Cards and her have gone their seperate ways. There's been some noise about Bebe maybe aiming for a solo career, which I hope is true, but not much else. The split seems to be largely amicable, if mildly inexplicable.
But! Once in fandom, always in fandom, my love for Bebe endures. Her and Pete met when Pete went into the studio to record what would become the beginnings of Black Cards and Pete heard her singing in the adjacent studio. Her voice is amazing. Seriously. She has the coolest, sweetest, edgyiest style ever and rocks out like a motherfucker at Black Cards shows.
She's pretty young (~21) and from New York City (Long Island). Apparently she was in a wedding band for a while.
